Assoc. Prof. Jiangang Fei, University of Tasmania, Australia
Assoc. Prof. Jiangang Fei had 10 years of experience in the shipping industry and three years as a logistics manager in an Australian company. The industry experience has been a great strength for his teaching and research. A/Prof Fei has two main areas of research expertise. One is in logistics and supply chain management where he explores efficiency, performance, information sharing, and greenness of logistics and supply chain operations as well as optimisation of key operations such cross docking and last-mile distribution. A/Prof Fei has a strong research interest in food supply chain, especially fresh food produce. The other area of research expertise is human capital development in the maritime industry where Dr Fei investigates issues related to maritime education and training, demand and supply in the maritime workforce, and maritime safety related to human factors.
